About this web address: this domain name was bought second-hand and it reads like a health or supplement brand. It is not one. Nothing on this site is a pill, a supplement, a wellness product or an adult product, and nothing here is sold, shipped or paid for online. ALABASTER SQUARE 3 LLC restores marble, travertine, granite, terrazzo and grout — physical floors and countertops, in person, in Palm Beach County, Florida. The name is explained in full under Questions.

We hone the dull back out of stone floors people walk on every day.

Diamond honing and polishing of marble and travertine, grout deep-cleaning and color-sealing, countertop re-polishing, terrazzo stripping and shower descaling — measured on your floor, quoted flat in writing, paid only after you have walked the finished job with me.

How a dull floor gets its finish back

There is no chemical that fixes worn stone. It is abrasion, in order, and then a sealer that actually bonds.

The first thing I do on any job is a test square. I tape off twelve inches of the worst traffic lane, run the pads through it, and leave it there next to the rest of the floor. It is a small bit of theater and it is also the whole sales pitch — a customer standing over a bright square in a grey floor does not need me to talk. Nine times out of ten that square is what books the work.

What is happening in that square is mechanical. A marble or travertine floor does not get dirty so much as it gets scratched. Sand tracked in on shoe soles is harder than the calcium in the stone, so every crossing lays microscopic gouges into the surface. Enough of them and the polish stops reflecting; the lane between the elevator and the mailboxes goes flat while the corners nobody walks through stay bright. That is why mopping never brings it back — you are washing scratches.

So I grind them out. A weighted rotary machine and a run of diamond pads, starting coarse enough to reach below the damage and stepping down through the grits — 200, 400, 800, then 1500 and 3000 for the shine — flooding the floor with water the whole way so nothing overheats and burns. On acid-etched marble the last steps are a powder polish worked with a wool pad until the reflection sharpens. Grout is a different animal: it is porous, so a mop just pushes grey water into the joint and leaves it there. Grout gets a high-pressure rinse first, then a pigmented color-seal that fills the pores so the line stops absorbing.

Then it gets sealed while it is dry, cured overnight, and I hand back a maintenance sheet that mostly says the same three things: neutral cleaner, no vinegar, put felt under the barstools.

Services and what they cost

Every number below is a real published rate. I measure on site, put the figure in writing, and that figure is what you pay — pick a line on the left to read it.

Marble & travertine floor honing and polishing

$4.50 – $7.25 per square foot

The core of the business. Lobbies, entries, kitchens, bath floors and pool decks in stone that has gone flat in the walking lanes. Price moves inside that range with how deep the scratching is, how much lippage sits between tiles, and whether the floor needs a full grind to flatten or only a light re-polish.

  • Wet diamond honing, 200 → 3000 grit, machine-weighted
  • Powder polish on etched marble to bring the reflection back
  • Impregnating sealer, applied dry, cured overnight
  • Furniture moved and reset by us; floors dust-contained

Grout deep-cleaning and color-sealing

$1.85 per linear foot of grout line

For the floor that is genuinely clean and still reads dirty. The joint is porous, it has been drinking mop water for years, and no amount of scrubbing pulls that back out. High-pressure extraction first, then a pigmented seal that closes the pores and evens the color.

  • Color matched to the original joint or changed on request
  • Sealed joints stop absorbing — spills sit on top
  • Walkable in about four hours, wet-mop safe after 48

Tile and grout steam cleaning

from $285 for a standard bathroom

Heated water at pressure inside a closed vacuum head, so the slurry gets pulled straight back into the waste tank instead of running down the hall. Ceramic and porcelain kitchens, baths and laundry rooms. Priced by area after I see it; the $285 is a full standard bathroom, floor and walls.

  • Alkaline pre-spray, dwell, agitation, neutral rinse
  • No sealer sold on top of it unless the grout is bare

Granite and quartz countertop polishing and re-sealing

$185 for a typical island · $6 per sq ft on longer runs

The gloss goes first right at the seat where the family eats, and around the sink where standing water has been sitting. Hand-polished with progressive pads, then a food-safe impregnating sealer. Etch rings from lime and wine on marble bar tops are honed out, not covered.

  • Islands, bar tops, vanities, perimeter runs
  • Sink cut-outs and edge profiles polished by hand

Stripping wax and dead sealer from saltillo and terrazzo

$3.75 per square foot

Old acrylic wax yellows and then flakes, and what you are seeing is not the floor at all — it is thirty years of coating. It gets chemically stripped down to bare material, neutralized, and either left matte or re-finished, whichever the customer wants.

  • Terrazzo can be diamond-polished instead of re-waxed
  • Saltillo re-sealed with a breathable topical

Shower stone descaling and re-sealing

from $320 per stall

Hard water in this county leaves a mineral crust that reads as "the stone is ruined." It usually is not. The scale comes off with a controlled acidic descale on the right stone, or mechanically on marble, and the walls and pan are sealed afterward so it takes years to come back.

  • Marble, travertine and pebble pans
  • Glass door mineral etching addressed at the same visit

How the money actually works

This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is spelled out plainly.

1 · Measure, in person

You call or send the form. I come out, measure the real square footage, identify the stone, and cut the test square. There is no charge for that visit and no obligation attached to it.

2 · Flat quote, in writing

One number, written down, before anything starts. Not "call for pricing," not a teaser rate that grows at the door. If the floor turns out worse than it looked, I tell you before I start, not after.

3 · Pay after you walk it

The crew does the work on the scheduled day and you pay when you have walked the finished floor with me — card, check or Zelle. No deposit up front, no membership, no subscription, no recurring charge, no financing.

There is no shopping cart on this website and there never has been. Nothing here can be added to a basket, checked out, shipped or billed automatically. I sell skilled restoration labor by the square foot to people whose floors I can drive to, and I make no guaranteed-result, permanent-finish or health claims of any kind.

The two questions everybody asks first

Both are about names, and both deserve a straight answer instead of a shrug.

Why is the web address virilkegel.shop? That reads like a supplement.

Because I bought it second-hand off a list of expiring domains for a few dollars, in a hurry, on the strength of it being short and available — and I never once said it out loud before I paid. Read the way a stranger reads it, it looks like a men's-health or pelvic-floor product. It has never sold one. There is no supplement, no capsule, no device, no wellness program and no adult product connected to this company in any way, and there is nothing on this site to buy at all.

I have kept it up here rather than quietly moving because pretending the address is normal is what a person with something to hide would do. If a customer, a supplier or a review team would rather this business sat on a name that matches the trade, I will register one and move the site — it is a domain, not the company. The company is a stone-restoration crew in West Palm Beach with a Florida filing you can pull up in thirty seconds.

And why does the legal name end in a “3”?

Nothing clever. When the paperwork went in to Tallahassee in 2020, plain "Alabaster Square" and then "Alabaster Square 2" both came back as too close to entities already on the register. "Alabaster Square 3" cleared, so that is the name on the filing, the bank account, the insurance certificate and every invoice since. It is not a third company, not a numbered shell, and there is no Alabaster Square 1 or 2 of mine anywhere. "Alabaster" is simply what honed marble looks like when it is done — that pale, even, chalk-white finish is the entire product I sell.

Are you licensed?

Restoration and cleaning of surfaces that are already installed is maintenance, not construction, so it takes no Florida contractor licence. I do not install stone or tile, do not demolish, do not touch subfloor or plumbing and do not pull permits. I carry general liability insurance and can send the certificate to any property manager or HOA that asks — most of them do, and they should.

Do you sell stone, tile or sealer?

No. No products, no materials, no online orders, no shipping. Labor only, on your floor.

Why people call this number back

The owner is the one on the floor

There is no sales rep and no call center. The person who measures your floor is the person kneeling on it with the pads two days later, and the number below rings his cell phone.

Prices are published

The rates on this page are the rates. Publishing them costs me the occasional job and it saves everybody the tap dance where the estimate arrives with an asterisk.

You see the result before you pay

Test square first, invoice last. If the finish is not what the square showed, it does not get paid for — that is the whole arrangement and it has not changed since 2020.

Where we work

Palm Beach County only. Everything is done by hand on the customer's property, so the range is however far a van and a floor machine can sensibly drive before the day is wasted on traffic.

West Palm Beach Palm Beach Lake Worth Wellington Palm Beach Gardens Jupiter North Palm Beach Riviera Beach

Typical customers: condo and HOA boards along the Flagler Drive corridor, property managers, single-family homeowners, a handful of restaurants, and realtors getting a listing photographed. Nothing is sold or shipped outside the county, because there is nothing to ship.

Ask for a measure

Tell me the room, the stone if you know it, and roughly the square footage. I will give you a range on the phone and a firm written number once I have seen it.
